Moulting comb
- Removes loose and moulting hair from your cat's coat, leaving a shiny, healthy coat
- Stimulates skin and hair follicles
- Rounded pins for extra comfort and massaging action
Flea comb
- Removes fleas, nits and debris
- Comb your cat's coat to remove any knots and tangles first
- While combing, pay particular attention to areas around the ears, nape of neck and base of tail
Claw scissors
- Hold your pet's foot and gently push down with your thumb at the base of the nail. This will cause the nail to extend slightly, making it easier for you to see the nail
- Trim the nail at a 45-degree angle so that the newly cut nail is flush with the floor.
There is a blood vessel in each nail called the quick. Do not cut the nail so short that you cut the quick; always cut just the excess nail. If in doubt or for first-time clipping, cut just a tiny end off the nail until you are confident with trimming. The pinkish colour of the quick is easy to see in pets with light-coloured nails.
