A message from the Directors - Brent and Wayne Wootton
We have always believed in taking advantage of the many opportunities that come our way. Wayne and I have been fortunate enough to be involved in these opportunities during times of change and have seen the company evolve from a small family business, where mum and dad would be bagging birdseed on the dining room table, to the magnificent corporation it is today.
Our father was a firm believer in hard work. knowing it paid off. Someone once said "the harder you work, the luckier you get!" And we have been lucky. We have been brought up on solid family values and we consider our staff an extension of our family. We are proud that we have staff members with as many as 33 years service, and an average length of service spanning a decade. Many of these good people have seen this company grow to the multi-million dollar empire it is today.
It is important to understand how it came about. Our father understood the value of strong relationships with suppliers and customers. Look after their business and they will look after your business!
The philosophy Whatever it takes was adopted as a way of life. This philosophy has seen us enjoy customer relationships spanning three generations; it has seen us recognised by Microsoft as industry leaders in the use of technology, Our suppliers have provided us with awards in packaging while our customers have bestowed upon us the highest honour in exceptional customer service deliveries.
None of this recognition has come about without hard work, a sense of pride and a passion for the industry.
Wayne and I take more of a back-seat role these days as we place the day-to-day activities in the hands of some of the most talented people in the industry. We are proud to be industry leaders but we are even prouder of our people.
