Scott MacIver - Australasian supply chain manager

I joined Masterpet in 1994 and have grown with the company since. I have worked in the warehouse environment at all levels as purchasing assistant, shipping clerk, production, buyer (Australasian), warehouse manager and group procurement manager. Now I am the Australasian supply chain manager and am still continuing to grow with the company.

My current role brings me new challenges of working on different projects such as how to gain operational efficiencies, reduce costs, develop high performance and a customer-driven team that exceeds our customers' expectations.

In my job I enjoy acquiring new skill sets by working closely with industry-leading experts, having the challenge and implementing change and developing staff. Overall it is very satisfying to see the end results of how we can improve and move Masterpet forward. For example, the recent implementation of the Lost Sales Project (2005/2006) has improved profitability significantly.
